Privacy Policy for Qalb-e-Saleem
Last Updated: October 14, 2026
Introduction
Qalb-e-Saleem is a free app published by Hizb ur Rehman Islamic Academy for reading and listening to the book Qalb-e-Saleem. This policy explains what happens to your information when you use the app. In short: the app does not collect, store or share any personal information.
1. Information We Collect
None. The app has no sign-up or account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, photos or any other personal data, and the app does not request any of these permissions.
2. Information kept on your device
A few settings are saved only on your own device so the app works the way you left it:
your reading text size;
where you stopped in each recording, so it can resume;
recordings you choose to download for offline listening.
This information never leaves your device and is not sent to us. Deleting the app removes all of it. Downloaded recordings can also be removed at any time from the app's menu
3. Audio and video streaming
The book text and pictures are built into the app. The audio recordings and the documentary are streamed from Google Firebase Storage when you play them. As with any internet request, Google's servers receive technical information needed to deliver the file, such as your device's IP address. We do not receive or use this information to identify you. See Firebase's privacy information and the Google Privacy Policy.
4. Links and sharing
The app contains links to our website, our Facebook and Instagram pages, the Hizb ur Rehman Islamic Academy website and the app stores. These open in your browser or the relevant app and are governed by those services' own privacy policies. When you use "Share", your device's share sheet is used and nothing is sent to us.
5. Children
The app is suitable for all ages. Because it collects no personal information, it collects none from children.
6. Security
All streaming uses encrypted HTTPS connections. The storage that holds the recordings only allows the app's audio and video files to be read; nothing can be uploaded or listed by the public.
7. Changes to this policy
If the app ever changes how it handles information, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date before the change is released.
